MY STORY
That is why I created this blog. My experience of motherhood began in a way I never expected, shaped by a birth that left a deep mark on my heart and by my journey through Australia’s public hospital system. For a long time, it affected me more than words could explain. Although life has moved forward and much has changed since then, that experience stayed with me, shaped me, and inspired me to create a space for honesty, healing, and connection.
I am a Brazilian woman living abroad, becoming a first-time mummy here in Australia. My journey has been filled with discoveries, challenges, and so much gratitude. Far away from my roots, I am learning how to balance the beauty of motherhood with the reality of being an immigrant mum, adapting to a new culture and lifestyle while raising my little girl, Valentina, here.
